CDS Update, New Cartridges, & a Michaels Coupon
Cricut has just released the latest update for Design Studio. With each update they add newly released cartridges. This update will add Graphically Speaking and the Storybook cartridges.
IMPORTANT: How to Update CDS
- With your DS not open, uninstall your current version of CDS. The easist way is to go to the Start Menu and select programs. Find Design Stusio and select it. You can uninstall it from there. (Don’t worry…you won’t lose any of your registration information).
- Go to the update page and select the most recent update. Download it and run it from an administrator account.
- Viola! You are updated and can start playing with the latest releases!

I must say I tried your manual and I guess I just can’t read because I could not for the life of me rename a page, so I consulted a professional on our computer (my 14 yr old son)to help me figure out what I was doing wrong and it was TOTALLY my fault he showed me things on my cricut that he did not even read in your book and then he looked for them in your book and found them. I SO LOVE YOUR BOOK AND NEWSLETTERS. Thank you for all your time in creating these wonderful tools for us scrappers and card makers
I appreciate all the effort you put into the newsletter and Learning thr Cricut manual. I just bought indie art . It came without a booklet. I have looked and cannot find the blog you referred us to. The home decor cartridge was an exclusive that only came with the Expression at WalMart. I don’t know if or when they will put it out for everyone. Ebay is the only place to find them that I am aware of. Click to see Home Decor Cartridges on Ebay.
The small cartridges without the boxes, the “solutions” cartridges don’t come with a handbook because all of the options aren’t available that actually gives a different shape than what is shown.
hi you probably read my other email, i found this but don’t understand how to update, i understand how to uninstall ds but where do i find the update page and what is an administrator account i am really stupid with the mechanics of computers.
