Word is out that there will be two new cartridges released June 7th. They are Simply Sweet and Stand and Salute. Not much available for images as of now, but as always, Linda at Just a Scrappin‘ has the latest news.

If you haven’t seen the special on the Cricut website, you need to check it out. (Click Here) They are offering Jubilee and Home Decor for 3 payments of $33 (retail price $189). The best part is that if you choose the three payments, you also get a free set of Cricut markers. If you pay one payment of $99 you get a free set of markers and a FREE JUKEBOX. Suprisingly, the shipping charges are a reasonable $7.99. I was thinking that they would pull this offer after Mother’s Day, but it is still up as of now. Jubilee and Home Decor are exclusive to this offer for now, but are being released for purchase June 7th as well.

Cricut has just released the latest update for Design Studio. With each update they add newly released cartridges.  This update will add Graphically Speaking and the Storybook cartridges.

IMPORTANT: How to Update CDS

• With your DS not open, uninstall your current version of CDS. The easist way is to go to the Start Menu and select programs. Find Design Stusio and select it. You can uninstall it from there. (Don’t worry…you won’t lose any of your registration information).
• Go to the update page and select the most recent update. Download it and run it from an administrator account.
• Viola! You are updated and can start playing with the latest releases!
